Diana Cherbuliez received a B.F.A. from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1985 and an M.F.A. from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, Alfred, New York, in 1993. She lives and works in Vinalhaven, Maine. Her work has been featured in exhibitions at, amongst others, Grant Wahlquist Gallery, Portland, Maine; Theodore:Art, Brooklyn; Whitney Art Works, Portland, Maine; the Schlitkamp Gallery at Clark University, Worcester, Massachusetts; the Center for Maine Contemporary Art, Rockport; the Portland Museum of Art, Maine; June Fitzpatrick, Portland, Maine; and the Institute of Contemporary Art, Portland, Maine. Cherbuliez has attended residencies at Yaddo in Saratoga Springs, New York, and the Villa Montalvo, Saratoga, California. She is the recipient of grants from the Maine Arts Commission (Good Idea grant and Percent for Arts grant). Her work is in the collection of the Worcester Art Museum, Massachusetts.
